Grimwood Named Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District

STARKVILLE – A standout on the golf course and in the classroom, Mississippi State's Ela Grimwood was named to the 2019 Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District Team on Thursday.
The Auckland, New Zealand, junior boasts a 4.0 cumulative GPA double-majoring in history and psychology. She has earned President's Scholar honors the last four semesters while also being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll as a sophomore and is expected to do so again. In 2018, Grimwood received Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Academic All-American honors.
Grimwood is also a standout in the community, representing the Bulldogs on the 2019 SEC Women's Golf Community Service Team earlier this month.
After competing in seven events this season for the Bulldogs, Grimwood recorded four top 25 finishes, with her best coming at the Westbrook Invitational where she tied for 11th.
