STARKVILLE – Due to inclement weather forecasted for Thursday, Mississippi State softball will now play a doubleheader against in-state rival No. 17/16 Ole Miss on Friday, April 19.
Game one of Friday's doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. CT on the SEC Network +. Game two will begin at 5 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted nationally on the SEC Network with Melissa Lee (play-by-play) and Carol Bruggerman (analyst) on the call.
Saturday's series finale is schedule for 1 p.m. CT and will feature an SEC Network + broadcast. Following Saturday's contest, Mississippi State will honor its 2019 senior class: Bevia Robinson, Kat Moore, Sarai Niu, Taylor Kelly and Emily Heimberger – in a post-game ceremony.
The Bulldogs are facing their sixth ranked opponent in Southeastern Conference play and is rounding out its final two home series at Nusz Park. MSU owns a 26-17 overall record, including a 3-12 mark in SEC play.
