Baldwin Tabbed to Hampshire Honor Society

IRVING, Texas - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced Wednesday the members of the 2019 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which includes Mississippi State football student-athlete Joel Baldwin.
The Hampshire Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or batter throughout their college careers. An all-time high of 1, 643 players from a record 424 schools qualified for membership in the society's 13th year.
Qualifications for member in the NFF Hampshire Honor Society include:
Baldwin, a walk-on long snapper from Tupelo, Mississippi, spent three seasons with the program and earned a scholarship heading into his final season. As a senior, he played in all 13 contests as the primary long snapper. Baldwin graduated in December 2018 with a degree in political science.

- Being a starter or a significant contributor in one's last year of eligibility (or a junior who has declared for the NFL Draft) at an NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision, Football Championship Subdivision, Division II, Division III or an NAIA college or university.
- Achieving a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout entire course of undergraduate study.
- Meeting all NCAA/NAIA-mandated progress toward degree requirements.
