STARKVILLE – After capturing its second straight Battle for the Golden Egg and securing a bowl berth for a school-record 10th consecutive season, Mississippi State football is debuting "Sip To State" billboards in more than 40 locations across the state, celebrating a decade of homegrown success.
The static and digital billboards will feature former players, NFL standouts and even current student-athletes who hail from the state of Mississippi running this month beginning Thursday.
State, winners of three of its last four games, will learn of its bowl destination this Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs are one of five Southeastern Conference teams who have earned a bowl berth every season this decade.
Ticket pre-orders are being accepted for season ticket holders now at HailState.com/bowltickets. The priority order deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. If tickets remain after the priority pre-order deadline, public ticket sales will begin after the bowl announcement, and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
