STARKVILLE – Mississippi State pounded out 640 yards of total offense and 460 yards rushing – both school records for an SEC game – as the Bulldogs snapped a four-game losing streak with a dominating 54-24 victory over Arkansas in Razorback Stadium. MSU went over 600 yards of total offense for the third time in the Joe Moorhead era. Kylin Hill rushed for a career-high 234 yards – just 24 shy of the school record – and three touchdowns. The Bulldogs put the game out of reach right before the half ended when Marcus Murphy, making his first career start, stepped in front of a pass and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown to make it 38-10 at the break.
