Mississippi State Women's Golf and Head Coach Ginger Brown-Lemm Inked their First Signee of 2020 Class

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State and head coach Ginger Brown-Lemm inked their first signee of the 2020 signing class Wednesday.
The Bulldogs signed Jarutrawee Khotchagrai of Bangkok, Thailand. Having won six junior golf events to date, her play in numerous highly-ranked tournaments earned her the opportunity to compete with the Thailand Ladies Golf Association each of the last two years. In preparation to join the Bulldog family, Jarutrawee, also known as Saiparn, has another strong slate set for the spring.
Khotchagrai has proven herself as a standout golfer, having represented herself and her country of Thailand with pride on the international stage. She has accumulated a wide range of match play experience through the years, which will aid State during postseason play.
"I'm thrilled to welcome JK to our program," said Brown-Lemm. "She brings a wealth of international experience and has been a member of several national teams. She will be an immediate-impact player, and we can't wait to get her to campus."
Khotchagrai qualified for the Chang Circuit National Championship for the past three years, including a win at the regional event, the Chang-Chiang-Mai Juniors International Golf Championship in 2017. She also finished runner-up at the 35th Thailand National Jr. Golf Championship, earning her spot on the Bangkok Team in 2018 and 2019.
Ranked on WAGR, Khotchagrai has accumulated an impressive eight runner-up finishes or better in the 2018 season, highlighted by a win at the Thailand Golf Association Match at Silver Oak. Khotchagrai currently holds a spot on both the Bangkok team and the Thailand Ladies Golf Association, Thailand's National team.
