Military Appreciation Game, Parking Details Announced For Weekend Events

STARKVILLE – Parking details have been announced for this weekend's athletic events on the Mississippi State campus surrounding Saturday's Military Appreciation Football Game at 11 a.m. in Davis Wade Stadium.
Thursday, Nov. 14 – Men's Basketball vs. ULM at 6 p.m.
All football RV parking will be in effect and all football parking passes will be honored. Men's basketball affected parking lots are Lot A & ADA West. If you have a men's basketball Lot A pass, you will be able to use your pass in Lots B or C on Thursday. Men's basketball ADA West passes will be honored in ADA East on Thursday to accommodate.
Friday, Nov. 15 – Women's Basketball vs. Murray State at 7 p.m.
All football RV parking will be in effect and all football parking passes will be honored. Women's basketball affected parking lots are Lot AA & ADA West. If you have a women's basketball Lot AA pass, you will be able to use your pass in Lots BB or CC on Friday. Women's basketball ADA West passes will be honored in ADA East on Friday to accommodate.
Saturday, Nov. 16 – Military Appreciation Football Game vs. Alabama at 11 a.m.
With metal detector security screening in place, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive at Davis Wade Stadium gates in advance of 45 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure a smooth entry. Fans arriving at gates 30 minutes prior to kickoff should expect delays. For complete metal detector entry procedures, visit HailState.com/metaldetector.

- The Black Daggers parachute team will deliver the game ball just after 10:30 a.m.
- There will be a live Pledge of Allegiance, national anthem and Oath of Enlistment for United States Air Force enlistees.
- A POW/MIA Chair of Honor will be unveiled in the first quarter, serving as a tribute to prisoners of war and service members who are missing in action.
- There will be a Salute to Service honoring World War II veterans and recognition of Air Force ROTC's 70th anniversary.
- The Famous Maroon Band and choir will give a special military appreciation halftime performance.
