WATCH: Anderson Peters Discusses World Championship

STARKVILLE – Junior Anderson Peters met with the media on Monday afternoon to discuss his World Championships performance.
Peters won the world title to complete an undefeated 2019 season that also saw him claim his second consecutive NCAA and SEC crowns along with a gold medal at the Pan American Games. He has won 10 consecutive meets and 16 of 20 meets since he began competing collegiately. He has never finished a meet off the podium.
The St. Andrews, Grenada, native is just the second world champion from the island in any event and just the third medalist in Grenada's history. He is the first athlete from the Americas to win the world championship in the javelin.
