
Men’s Hoops Keeps Top 25 Status

STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State men's basketball team remained ranked among the nation's top 25 for the 11th consecutive poll released Monday.
The Bulldogs are ranked at No. 23 in the USA Today/Coaches and hold the No. 24 position in the Associated Press Top 25 polls, respectively. The 11 straight polls ranked to begin a season checks in as the fourth-longest streak in program history trailing only the 1958-59, 2002-03 and 2004-05 squads.
Mississippi State is one of four SEC teams ranked in this week's edition of the polls which include Tennessee (3 AP, 3 USA Today), Kentucky (12 AP, 14 USA Today) and Auburn (14 AP, 12 USA Today).

Mississippi State continues its two-game homestand and welcomes Florida to Humphrey Coliseum on Tuesday, Jan. 15 with tip time is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by SEC Network and available online through the WatchESPN app.
