STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State's Fan Day featuring the 2018 Bulldog football team is set for Saturday inside the Palmeiro Center. The event will be open to the public and free for fans of all ages.
Doors will open at 2:30 p.m., and head coach Joe Moorhead and student-athletes will be available to sign autographs from 3-5 p.m. Fans are asked to enter through the southeast entrance of the Palmeiro Center.
To help ensure everyone in attendance has a chance to meet all the student-athletes and Coach Moorhead, student-athletes may only sign posters while Coach Moorhead will autograph one item of choice per person. Posters and schedule cards will be available for free to fans.
Parking is free and available in the Palmeiro-Griffis, Humphrey Coliseum and MSU Soccer Field lots. The Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex lot will be closed. Restrooms will be open in the Griffis Boardroom, which will also feature a cooling zone.
Other attractions include a Kids' Zone with inflatable games, appearances by Bully, Jak, the cross country team, MSU cheerleaders and dance team. There will be free drinks for fans. Barnes & Noble will be set up inside the Palmeiro Center.
Fans interested in touring the new atrium of the Templeton Athletic Academic Center can do so between 3-5 p.m.
MSU Athletic Game Management staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions and review with fans the gameday, stadium security and access policies for the 2018 football season.
Last Thursday, it was announced that walk-through metal detectors will be implemented at all gates of Davis Wade Stadium on football gamedays beginning Sept. 1. Fans interested in becoming familiar with the new entry process into Davis Wade Stadium in person are encouraged to attend. Though Fan Day is being held at the Palmeiro Center, walk-through metal detectors will be set up at Davis Wade Stadium for any fans interested in getting a preview of the gameday setup. For more information, visit HailState.com/metaldetector.
Bully's Kids Club members can pick up their 2018-19 membership packets inside the Palmeiro Center at Fan Day. New memberships will be available as well, which gives free admission to all home women's basketball, baseball and December men's basketball games.
Maroon Memories are now on sale for parking, early entry, and skip the line passes at HailState.com/memories on your mobile device.
