STARKVILLE, Miss – Former Mississippi State women's golf All-American and current LPGA member Ally McDonald is set to tee off at the biggest event in women's golf, the U.S. Women's Open.
This year, the oldest of the LPGA's five major championships is set to take place at Shoal Creek in Birmingham, Ala,, Thursday, May 31, through Sunday, June 3, and features a $5 million purse.
McDonald is set to tee off No. 10 at 1:26 p.m. CT. and is paired with fellow American Austin Ernst and Georgia Hall of England.
McDonalds' best finish in 2018 came at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup, where the Fulton, Miss., native shot a four-day tally of (-12) 276 and tied for 7th overall.
To watch former Bulldog great live, tickets are available for single day entry and week-long passes to the event. Children age 18 and under receive complimentary tickets, on any day when accompanied by an adult ticket or credential holder.
FS1 will air the event May 31-June 1 and FOX will air the remainder of play.
