Smith and Brown-Lemm Announce Summer Golf Camp Dates

STARKVILLE, Miss. – As summer nears, young Bulldogs will get the chance to hone their golf skills as the Mississippi State men's and women's programs join forces to host three separate elite golf camps.
MSU's men's golf coach Dusty Smith and women's coach Ginger Brown-Lemm will host the day-long camps June 2, June 16 and July 21.
The camps are open to boys and girls ages 12-18. Spots are limited to 30 campers and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $250 plus a service fee, which includes lunch. Campers can get more information or register online at www.hailstatecamps.com.
Each camp begins at 8 a.m. with a tour of the Bulldogs' state-of-the-art practice facility located at the Mossy Oak Golf Course in West Point, Miss. Campers will then get insight into playing collegiate golf and the recruiting process during a question and answer session with coaching staffs.
Campers will then have the opportunity to receive long and short-game instruction and hit golf balls using MSU's Trackman and SAM PuttLab technologies. The coaches will be on hand to provide feedback and tips that will help the campers improve their overall games.
The one-day camp wraps up with nine holes at Mississippi State University Golf Course. Parents will need to transport campers to the golf course around 1:00 p.m. CT. Each camper will receive a dozen Mississippi State logo golf balls.
Per NCAA rules, sports camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). Representatives of our athletics interests (boosters) cannot pay camp registration fees or provide other expenses for a prospect to attend camp. Mississippi State University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation or group affiliation, age, disability, or veteran status.
