Bulldog Softball Announces 2018 Camp Dates

STARKVILLE, Miss. – As the Bulldogs prepare for the postseason, Mississippi State softball head coach Vann Stuedeman and her staff have announced the dates for the 2018 softball camps.
Applications are now being accepted for this summer's softball camp slate. The two camp sessions are under the direction of Stuedeman and the Mississippi State softball coaching staff and players.
Each session is held at Nusz Park and is designed to provide intensive instruction on all aspects of the game of softball. Each session will also have dedicated time to focus on hitting skills, defensive skills, base running and game strategy, along with pitching, catching and extensive instruction on hitting. Campers will also have the opportunity at live-game experience through daily scrimmages.
Per NCAA rules, sports camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). Representatives of our athletics interests (boosters) cannot pay camp registration fees or provide other expenses for a prospect to attend camp. Mississippi State University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation or group affiliation, age, disability, or veteran status.

SUMMER CAMP – June 18-21, 2018
WHO: Grades 2-12th (Limited to 200 registrants)
OVERNIGHT: $395 (Includes all meals, water/Gatorade and dorm accommodations)
COMMUTER: $300 (Includes lunch at camp and water/Gatorade)
CAMP HOURS: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Except for final day [June 21] when it will run from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
CHECK-IN: Monday, June 18 at 8 am. (For both overnight and commuter campers_
INFORMATION: The camp is designed to provide intensive instruction on all aspects of the game of softball. We will focus on hitting skills, defensive skills, base running, and game strategy. All defensive positions including pitching and catching will be covered. There will also be extensive instruction on hitting. Athletes will have the opportunity to get live-game experience as well, through daily scrimmages. Athletes will be placed on teams based on age/skill level.
TEAM CAMP – July 6-8, 2018
WHO: Teams of 7th-12th Graders (Limited to 12 total teams_
FEES: Head Coach – Free // Each Team Member: $220 // First Assistant Coach - $120 // All Other Coaches: $220
*$500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your team's spot
Check-in: Friday, July 6 at 7 a.m.
*Camp will conclude at 12 p.m., on Saturday, July 8at Nusz Park

*All camp meals, housing, minimum of 3 games, umpires, game balls, Gatorade and water during all sessions. T-Shirt for all players and coaches. Daily Instruction by MSU Softball Staff and team awards for overall pool play winners
