Friday’s Opener with Aggies Washed Out; Doubleheader Set for Saturday

STARKVILLE, Miss. – As a result of heavy rain forecasted throughout Friday afternoon and evening, the series opened between No. 22 Mississippi State softball (28-9, 3-6 SEC) and No. 10 Texas A&M (32-8, 5-4 SEC) has been washed out and postponed until Saturday.
The two programs will now play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 7, beginning at 1 p.m. CT. Game two of the series will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the series opener. Streaming coverage for tomorrow's doubleheader will be announced at a later time.
Sunday's series finale is set for a 2 p.m. CT first pitch on the SEC Network.
