Track and Field Women Move to No. 24 in Latest USTFCCCA Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Heading into the Southeastern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, Mississippi State's women are ranked No. 24 in the latest USTFCCCA polls.
"This weekend saw a great effort to propel us into the SEC Championships," MSU coach Steve Dudley said. "The rankings are reflecting our effort. We dropped after a poor weekend, and we've climbed back up after putting in great work on the track this weekend."
The Bulldog women are one of nine SEC teams that will be ranked at the conference championships. Six of which are Top 10 teams.
Meanwhile, MSU's men have quietly been climbing in the polls. The Bulldogs have now improved 91 spots in just five weeks, averaging a jump of 18.2 each week.
MSU travels to College Station, Texas this weekend for the SEC Indoor Championships. The event will be hosted over Saturday and Sunday at Texas A&M's Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium.
