
Seniors, Ben Howland Ready for #SECTipoff '19

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A pair of seniors will join fourth-year head coach Ben Howland during the SEC Tipoff '19 event on Wednesday at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook in Birmingham, Alabama.
Aric Holman, Quinndary Weatherspoon and Howland will meet with various media members and media outlets from across the country which include ESPN, CBS and Sirius XM. SEC Now airing on the SEC Network will have live coverage from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT.
Weatherspoon collected Jerry West Award Watch List status which is awarded to the nation's top shooting guard for the second consecutive season. He has already amassed 1,383 career points and heads into his senior campaign 17th on MSU's all-time scoring list.
Holman has improved his stat line during each of his three seasons with the Bulldogs highlighted by career-bests with 10.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in 2017-18. He is 289 points shy from reaching the 1,000-point milestone for his career.
The Mississippi State Athletics Ticket Office is selling season tickets for as low as $199. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.HailState.com/Hoops, in person at the MSU Athletics Ticket Office located at the Bryan Athletic Building or via the phone at (662) 325-2600. Information on single-game tickets and mini plans will be announced at a later date by the ticket office.
