Football Begins Practice Tuesday, Watch Media Day Live at 10 a.m.

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Seven months removed from a school-record seventh straight bowl appearance, ninth-year Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen welcomes his 2017 squad for the start of preseason camp on Tuesday afternoon at the Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex.
Practices are closed to the public. The Bulldogs will also hold their annual media day live on SEC Network+ via the Watch ESPN app or WatchESPN.com. The live schedule for Tuesday's media day is as follows (all times Central):
10 a.m. – Head Coach Dan Mullen
10:30 a.m. – Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham
11 a.m. – Co-Offensive Coordinator John Hevesy
Players will speak to the media prior to meetings and practice, marking the first of 29 workouts leading up to MSU's Sept. 2 season-opener against Charleston Southern in Davis Wade Stadium.
The squad will practice Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of this week. The first two workouts will be in helmets and shorts. The first full pads practice is slated for Sunday.
