In a few days, we have one of our biggest weekends of the season to date as we host a Top-10 matchup against Auburn, and I ask all of you to help create an incredible home atmosphere for our team. There's a reason we stake claim to having the best fans in college baseball. This weekend, let's show the country why.
We play Friday night at 6:30, Saturday night at 7 and Sunday at noon. I look forward to seeing everyone at The Dude.

A reminder to those around the state that we officially begin the 2017 Road Dawgs Tour today. We'll start off this evening in Biloxi with dinner at 6 at the Maritime and Seafood Museum followed by the program at 7. Tomorrow, we'll be in Olive Branch for lunch at 11:30 at the Cherokee Valley Golf Club, then for dinner we'll be in Greenville at the Greenville Country Club.
It's been quite a year to celebrate as I'll be joined by Coach Mullen, Coach Schaefer and Coach Howland along the way, and we've got even more to look forward to and discuss in the upcoming athletic year. I hope those in the area will be able to join us today or tomorrow and I look forward to meeting many of you this week.

In a busy road weekend, we've got several teams who have experienced great success recently hitting the highway to compete against conference opponents. Coach Stuedeman and our softball team have been on a great run lately, having won three-straight SEC series, and this weekend they'll go for their fourth in a row as they play at Auburn. Our track and field teams are in Baton Rouge this weekend for the SEC relay ahead of the SEC Championships in a couple weeks, and our men's tennis team is in the SEC Tournament this weekend, playing tomorrow at 5 p.m. CT against Vanderbilt.
Meanwhile, our women's tennis team just came off their appearance in the SEC Tournament, with a big win over No. 23 Tennessee and a hard-fought setback to No. 1 Florida in the quarterfinals. Both tennis teams will find out their NCAA Tournament fate next Tuesday afternoon at 4 & 4:30 p.m. as their selection shows are streamed live on NCAA.com. Good luck to all of our Bulldogs on the road this weekend!

BULLY PULPIT WELCOMES 'BIG E'
Host Mat Wyatt has a particularly special and entertaining guest on this week's edition of The Bully Pulpit as he is joined by "The Bus Driver," longtime Bulldog and legend of the program Everett Kennard. Those who don't know his story or don't know the impact that Everett has on MSU athletics will enjoy getting to learn more about a man who has done and seen a lot over the decades in Starkville. You can listen by clicking here or by searching and subscribing to "Hail State" on iTunes or SoundCloud.

We appreciate what you do for Mississippi State Athletics and want to encourage you to get others involved. There are three things you can do to help the athletic department at Mississippi State reach its desired goals –
1. Buy Season Tickets
2. Financially Support the Bulldog Club
3. Get Others To Do The Same
