Having once been in that position myself, I know how difficult it is to balance schoolwork with the demands of being an SEC athlete, all while performing at a high level in both areas of life. Good luck to all of our graduates, student-athletes and students of all varieties on campus as you wind down the spring semester. We'll be cheering for all of you.

If you haven't yet seen, we released our full schedule for this year's Road Dawgs Tour. You can find more information on each stop here as we'll be hosting five events this year, starting in Biloxi on April 26th, Olive Branch and Greenville on April 27, Birmingham on May 16, and then concluding with the annual Central Mississippi Extravaganza in Jackson on July 18.
I hope you'll be able to join our crew at one of our tour stops and I look forward to seeing you there!

If you haven't been following the action of our softball and baseball teams the last few weeks then you have been missing some very impressive and very entertaining performances from our teams and individuals. Coach Cannizaro has our defending SEC Champion baseball team on a run of four-straight SEC series wins, including two sweeps, while junior Brent Rooker continues to rack up award-after-award along the way.
Meanwhile, Coach Stuedeman and our softball team have won back-to-back series against SEC teams, most recently on the road against a ranked Georgia team. To boot, senior Caroline Seitz has been named both SEC and National Player of the Week after an incredible run that included not one but two grand slams.
From Thursday to Monday this week, you can catch both of these teams in action. A reminder that our baseball series against Alabama this weekend starts tomorrow, running Thursday-Saturday. Softball hosts Arkansas this weekend in a Saturday-Monday series, so you've got ample opportunity to watch your Bulldogs play.

Our men's and women's tennis teams both remained among the nation's Top 20 this week as they enter postseason play.
Â
On the men's side, the Bulldogs sit at No. 18 nationally and will be the No. 5 seed at the SEC Championship in Knoxville, starting action on April 27.
Â
After downing Ole Miss in a 4-3 thriller in Oxford Saturday, our ladies are No. 20 this week. After finishing in a three-way tie for fifth in the SEC, they will be the No. 6 seed in the women's SEC Championship in Nashville this week, opening play tomorrow morning.
Â
Both teams have had tremendous regular seasons and are poised for similar success in the SEC and NCAA tournaments over the next month. One intriguing individual note – Mississippi State is the ONLY school in the nation with Top 10-ranked singles and doubles players in both men's AND women's tennis this week. Nuno Borges is ranked No. 4 nationally in singles for our men while Niclas Braun and Trevor Foshey came in at No. 9 in doubles. For the women, All-American Jasmine Lee is No. 10 this week in singles, while she and true freshman Lisa Marie Rioux are No. 5 in doubles.

We appreciate what you do for Mississippi State Athletics and want to encourage you to get others involved. There are three things you can do to help the athletic department at Mississippi State reach its desired goals –
1. Buy Season Tickets
2. Financially Support the Bulldog Club
3. Get Others To Do The Same
