Bulldogs Hold Strong at No. 16 in College Football Playoff Rankings

STARKVILLE, Miss. – After giving No. 1 Alabama its toughest test of the season and playing three teams ranked in the current top seven, Mississippi State football holds strong at No. 16 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings unveiled Tuesday night.
It's the third straight week that the Bulldogs (7-3, 3-3 SEC) are No. 16 in the rankings. MSU is the only ranked team to play three teams in the current top seven. State is the fourth-highest ranked Southeastern Conference team and the highest ranked three-loss team in the nation.
The Bulldogs have been ranked in 13 of the 22 College Football Playoff rankings dating back to 2014.
MSU seeks to bounce back in its final road game of the year as it travels to take on Arkansas at 11 a.m. CT Saturday from Razorback Stadium. The contest will be televised live on CBS.
