JACKSON, Miss. -- Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen and the Bulldog football team visited with patients and families at the Batson Children's of Mississippi Hospital on Thursday.
Mullen and the players went room-to-room greeting patients, taking photos and signing autographs before taking part in the annual Central Mississippi Alumni Chapter Extravaganza at the Mississippi Coliseum. Â
July is National Ice Cream Month and Mullen participated in the hospital's fundraiser, eating a sundae. Over 15 percent of all sundaes sold from Sal & Mookie's go toward the hospital this month.
