
MSU's Bramlett Earns Second Straight SEC Freshman Of The Week Honor

In four games, the Cordova, Tenn. native hit .500 (5-10) with four walks, four runs, and six stolen bases. She also had a .500 slugging percentage and a .643 on-base percentage. Bramlett helped MSU to its third consecutive series victory, taking two of three over rival Ole Miss.
The freshman opened the week going 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases at Samford. She then began the Ole Miss series with a 1-for-2 day, with a walk, a run and two stolen bases. Bramlett began Saturday's doubleheader with a 1-for-3 day, with a walk, a run and a stolen base in a 7-4 victory. Bramlett ended the week with two hits, two runs, a walk and a stolen base in State's 8-0 win.
Bramlett currently leads the conference in runs (43), hits (61) and stolen bases with 39 which sets a new MSU all-time freshman record. She is also fourth with a .421 batting average, and ninth in on-base percentage (.468).
Her 39 stolen bases is a freshman record, and currently ranks second all-time in a season at State. Bramlett has stolen 34 consecutive bases, also second all-time.
Bramlett becomes the second player this year to earn back-to-back Freshman of the Week awards, and the first Bulldog to earn the feat.
