Softball Doubleheader Start Time Pushed Back To 3 P.M.

ATHENS, Ga. - With remnants of heavy rains that moved through the Southeast late Friday evening still lurking over the Athens, Ga., area Saturday morning, the regularly scheduled Southeastern Conference softball Saturday afternoon doubleheader between 25th-ranked Mississippi State (30-12, 4-6 SEC) and 10th-ranked Georgia (35-9, 15-3) has been pushed back to a 3 p.m. EDT first pitch.
The game will be broadcast live over the airwaves on WMSV 91.1 FM with Stephen Cole handling all the balls and strikes and Todd Anderson providing color commentary.
