State Climbs To No. 22 In ESPN.Com/USA Softball Top 25

STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Mississippi State held steady at No. 22 for the third consecutive week in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25, but ascended to the same ranking in the ESPN.com/USA Softball national ranking - its highest in that poll since its establishment prior to the 2003 season.
The Bulldogs have been ranked in both polls since March 8 since making its debut at No. 24 in the ESPN.com poll and a No. 23 ranking in the USA Today ranking. MState's highest ranking in program history came on March 29, 2000, when the Maroon and White settled in at No. 19 in the USA Today/NFCA listing for two consecutive weeks.
