Rain Forces Postponement Of Tuesday's State/UAB Contest

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Due to heavy rains expected to continue throughout the Oktibbeha County area, the regularly scheduled Tuesday evening contest between the Mississippi State and UAB softball teams has been rescheduled. The game will now be played on Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs (18-15, 0-6 SEC) will return to action on Friday when the Maroon and White begins a nine-game homestand against SEC Eastern Division foe Kentucky (12-22, 1-8) at the MSU Softball Field. MState and the Wildcats will renew their series for the 22nd time with a 6 p.m. Friday evening tilt before closing out the set with a 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon doubleheader.
