MSU Announces Signing Of JUCO Standout Davis

Davis ran his best 55-meter hurdles indoors in 7.38 at Wallace State, where he made the finals in the NJCAA Championships. He had his best run outdoors at Wallace State in the 110m hurdles in 14.7. He lists his best time in the 200m at 21.66.
In high school, Davis was a three-time regional champion in the 110m hurdles at D.M. Therrell High School in Atlanta. His best time was 13.70 in the 110 hurdles and ran a 48.7 in the 400-meter hurdles while at Therrell.
Davis is the third Lion to sign with the Bulldogs, joining fellow hurdler Garland Martin and sprinter Jamel Ashley.
"We're happy about this trio of guys from Wallace State that have signed," said head coach Al Schmidt. "As good as our sprint group has been this year, I believe that our hurdlers will be just as good next year."
Courtney Davis is the son of Barbara Harkness.
