Lady Bulldogs Shoot 307 In NCAA East Regional Opening Round

Playing at the par-72 University Club, senior Anna Gertsson and freshman Beth Irwin are tied for 43rd to lead the Lady Bulldogs. Gertsson and Irwin each shot an opening round of 75.
Freshman Natalie Booth carded a 78 and is tied for 67th, while junior Anna Knutsson is one stroke behind Booth with a score of 79, placing her tied for 80th. Freshman Janet Dyer rounds out the participating Lady Bulldogs, as Dyer posted an 85 and is tied for 103rd.
Florida leads the tournament with a score of 286. Three golfers are tied atop the leaderboard in the individual competition with a score of 68, respectively.
Play resumes Saturday at 7:30 a.m. At the conclusion of the tournament, the top eight teams advance to the NCAA Championships.
