Lady Bulldogs Remain In Sixth At Liz Murphey; Gertsson In First After Two Rounds Of Action

Senior Anna Gertsson remains atop the leaderboard in the individual competition with a three-under-par score of 141. Gertsson matched her lowest round of the season on Saturday, shooting a 70 to combine with her first round score of 71.
Junior Anna Knutsson is tied for 31st in the individual competition after posting consecutive 77's for a score of 154. Freshman Natalie Booth also shot a 77 on Saturday to improve her score to 157, good for a 46th place tie. Freshman Beth Irwin has posted a 158 with rounds of shooting an 80 and a 78 to tie for 49th. Freshman Janet Dyer improved her score to 165 after shooting an 80 on Saturday and is tied for 73rd.
Florida leads the tournament with an score of 589, while Gertsson is two strokes ahead of Florida's Jeanne Cho, who has posted a 143.
Play concludes on Sunday with 18 holes of action set to begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
