Lady Bulldogs Open Spring Season At SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- The Mississippi State women's golf team begins their spring season this weekend in Gainesville Fla., competing in the SunTrust Lady Gator Invitational. The tournament is being held at the par-70 University Golf Course.
MSU head coach Christi Sanders will take a lineup consisting of senior Anna Gertsson, junior Anna Knutsson and three freshmen: Natalie Booth, Janet Dyer and Beth Irwin.
Joining Mississippi State at the tournament will be Alabama, Arkansas, Central Florida, host Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana State, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Florida and Vanderbilt.
The three-day event begins Friday, February 22, at 8 a.m.
