No. 21 Bulldogs, Lady Bulldogs Prepare For SEC Indoors

Coach Al Schmidt's 21st-ranked men's team is looking for strong performances from the sprints, where junior Pierre Browne and sophomore Marquis Davis look to rank near the top of the pack.
Senior long jumper Dion Crabbe also hopes to qualify for the NCAAs this season for the Bulldogs. Crabbe provisionally qualified last season with a jump of 25-1 1/4 at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
The women's squad will be anchored by all-American Elisha Williams, who is looking to improve her top long jump of 20-3 3/4 before the NCAA Championships. Williams placed third last season at the SEC Indoor Championships.
The team also looks to its distance contingent to do well, with freshmen Tiffany McWilliams and Meggan Hodge hoping to place in the top 10 in their first SEC track meet.
Competition begins on Friday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. with the pentathlon competetion with activities concluding Sunday at the Randal Tyson Track Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas.
