Detriviere posted a 3.87 grade-point average in general business administration to earn first-team honors, while Williams garnered second-team status with a 3.34 GPA in chemical engineering.
Detriviere joined LSU's Katy Harris and Arkansas' Tracy Robertson as the only SEC selections to the first team. Williams, Arkansas' Chin Bee Khoo, Lesley McClurg of LSU and Jamie Walker of Arkansas comprised the four SEC athletes named to the second team.
Detriviere, a native of Bressuire, France, notched an 11-17 singles record and a 15-12 mark in doubles this past season to help guide Tracy Lane's 32nd-ranked Lady Bulldogs to a 9-13 overall mark and a spot in the NCAA second round. Detriviere concluded her senior season ranked 84th nationally, and she ended her career with a school seventh-best 61 singles victories.
Williams has enjoyed an outstanding track and field season for head coach Al Schmidt's Lady Bulldogs. The Milton, Fla., native leads the Southeastern Conference in the long jump with a 21-7 1/4 leap she claimed in a win at the Texas Relays. Williams has won her specialty event seven times this season, and she has finished among the top three in the long jump in 14 of 15 meets this season.
The Milton, Fla., native stands as one of the favorites in the long jump at the May 30-June 2 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., after leading the nation in the event until last week when Nolle Graham of Seton Hall bettered her mark with a 21-10 3/4 leap. Williams took runner-up accolades in the long jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships earlier this season with a school-record 21-7 1/2 mark.
