Inclement Weather Postpones Game At MVSU

STARKVILLE, Miss. – As a result of heavy amounts of rain in the forecast throughout the day and into the night, the Mississippi State softball team's (24-24) non-conference contest at Mississippi Valley State (13-25) has been moved to tomorrow at noon.
The contest was originally scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m. CT in Itta Bena, Mississippi with tomorrow's makeup still to be played at MVSU.
Following tomorrow's contest, the Bulldogs will close out their 2016 home slate with a three-game SEC series with No. 16 Missouri this weekend at Nusz Park. The Senior Weekend series will open Friday at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
