MSU, Minnesota Schedule 2026, 2027 Football Series

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State and Minnesota have scheduled a future home-and-home football series for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, the two programs announced Wednesday.
The teams will meet at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sept. 12, 2026. The Golden Gophers return the trip on Sept. 11, 2027 at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville.
It will be the first meeting between the two teams and MSU's first visit to the state of Minnesota. The Bulldogs last played a Big Ten opponent in the regular season on Nov. 4, 1980, a date they defeated Illinois, 28-21, in Champaign.
