
#FromStateToSundays: Chris Jones Latest Bulldog Featured

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Former Bulldog and current Kansas City Chief Chris Jones is the latest to be featured on Mississippi State football's #FromStateToSundays digital billboard campaign.
The digital billboards will be on display Sunday in five locations across Kansas City with the Chiefs hosting the New Orleans Saints at noon CT live on FOX:

A second round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Chiefs, Jones has appeared in five games in his rookie season and has tallied seven tackles. Most recently, the Houston, Mississippi, native notched a pair of tackles in a 26-10 victory in Oakland against former MSU teammate Gabe Jackson and the Raiders in Week 6.
During his three years in Starkville, Jones was a consistent force in the Bulldog interior defensive line. In those three years, he tallied 102 total tackles, including 18.0 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks. During his first season in 2013, Jones captured Freshman All-American honors. In 2015, he was named second-team All-America by Pro Football Focus.
Last weekend, MSU featured Houston Texan Benardrick McKinney in five locations across Houston. The two-star quarterback, turned All-America linebacker played in Starkville from 2012 to 2014 and played an integral role in the Bulldogs' historic run to its number one ranking in 2014.
A total of 13 Bulldogs are currently on active NFL rosters. Another two are on injured reserve and five others are on practice squads. All 20 of them played for Dan Mullen at State.
