STARKVILLE, Miss. – With football playing Friday at BYU, Mississippi State's "Dawg Talk" radio show will air Wednesday and include basketball talk with head women's coach Vic Schaefer.
"Dawg Talk" airs at 7 p.m. from The Veranda on 208 Lincoln Green in Starkville. Fans are invited to attend the show, which can be heard on affiliates of the MSU Sports Radio Network presented by Learfield Sports, and for free on HailState.com and the TuneIn app.
With the football team practicing from 7-9:30 p.m. in preparation for Friday's late kickoff in Provo, Utah, MSU Director of Player Development Rockey Felker and Schaefer will join host Jim Ellis for this week's show.
Schaefer's fifth Bulldog team enters 2016-17 ranked in the Top 10 in several preseason polls. MSU returns all five starters from last year's edition that won a school-record 28 games and earned the program's second NCAA Sweet 16 appearance.
