MSU, Snaps Launch First Official Collegiate Athletics Emoji Keyboard

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State Athletics has partnered with Snaps to become the first collegiate athletic department to launch an official, custom emoji keyboard available now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
Fans can share their Bulldog pride around the world with over 40-plus custom emojis, stickers and GIFs featuring Mississippi State logos, landmarks and traditions to which additional content will be added monthly. The free download is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store by searching for "Hail State Emoji Keyboard."
"We always make it a priority in looking for innovative ways to connect with Bulldog fans," said MSU Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin. "The Hail State Emojis are a fun, free and easy way for our fans to engage with each other on their mobile devices while sharing some of their favorite Bulldog traditions."
"At Snaps we couldn't be more excited to be working with Mississippi State on the first university keyboard of its kind," said Snaps Chief Executive Officer Christian Brucculeri. "We see huge potential with universities to engage both current students, who are extremely active in messaging, and alumni, who are looking for ways to share their passion for their school."
The keyboard works anywhere image pasting is supported, including messaging apps such as iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, email and more. As of now, due to limitations with the Twitter and Instagram platforms, image pasting is not supported in tweets or posts but can be used in Twitter direct messaging. Work continues to fully deploy the custom "Hail State Emoji Keyboard" for use with those platforms.
Snaps is the first end-to-end platform for brand marketing across messaging applications and devices. The company partnered with the NBA's Atlanta Hawks to launch the first emoji keyboard in professional sports in May.
