Samford Game Washed Out For Softball
March 11, 2015 | Softball
STARKVILLE, MISS. – For the second-straight day, the Mississippi State softball team (18-5, 1-2 SEC) has had a mid-week game nixed due to poor weather conditions, this time having been this evening's game at Samford.
Both sides will work to see if a make-up date can be decided on before the conclusion of the regular season. State was also supposed to play at Lipscomb yesterday afternoon, but the game was called on Monday and will be made up on March 31 at Draper Diamond.
The Maroon & White will now reset before continuing SEC play this weekend with No. 19 Texas A&M on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT.
