February 28, 2015 | Softball
KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Due to a heavy amount of rain in and around the central Florida area, Mississippi State softball's (14-3) Saturday games against No. 23 Notre Dame (11-5) and Indiana (3-14) were washed out at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The Bulldogs split the first day of the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic on Friday with a 6-2 win over Maryland, following a 5-0 loss to No. 11 Minnesota.
State will return to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Sunday to close out their time at the Citrus Classic by taking on Georgetown (5-5) at 10 a.m. Sunday's game can be heard live through HailStatePLUS via HailState.com.
The possibility of Sunday's schedule being adjusted still remains. For additional updates follow "HailStateSB" on Twitter.
