Bulldogs Sign Four-Star Standout Abdul Ado
November 17, 2015 | Men's Basketball
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Just four days after landing one of the top recruiting classes in the country, Mississippi State basketball coach Ben Howland added yet another star to his program.
Howland and his staff signed four-star recruit Abdul Ado from Chattanooga, Tenn., on Tuesday. With the signing, the Bulldogs now have the No. 6 signing class in the country, according to ESPN.
“We're really excited about Abdul's commitment,” Howland said. “He is an exciting talent and multi-faceted in terms of being able to play two different positions. He can play both center and power forward and defend both as well. He has great length and size. His body has the potential to get bigger and stronger. He's a good passer, has shown he can shoot the ball from 15-17 feet and he's got a really great toughness about him. Abdul is going to be great for us in the future.”
