Softball Showdown at Southern Miss Canceled Due To Rain

STARKVILLE, Miss. - With a 100 percent chance of rain at first pitch according to the National Weather Service, Mississippi State's 6 p.m. road game at Southern Miss Tuesday at the Southern Miss Softball Complex in Hattiesburg, Miss., has been canceled.
Starkville's Team now turns its attention to a critical three-game conference clash against Kentucky. The series opener on Super Bulldog Weekend is Friday at 5 p.m., with the 12 p.m. Saturday contest being televised live nationally on ESPNU.
