Bulldogs' Non-Conference Finale At Samford Rained Out

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Steady rain showers that entered Birmingham shortly before first pitch Tuesday afternoon forced the cancellation of Mississippi State's non-conference finale at Samford.
The Bulldogs (23-29 overall, 9-16 SEC) wrap the 2011 regular season with a weekend trip to No. 7 Georgia. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. Friday. Saturday's second game is slated for a 1:30 p.m. first pitch, while Sunday's finale is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

Following the Georgia series, the Dawgs will venture to Oxford for the May 12-14 SEC Tournament.
