MSU's Tennis Match At No. 7 Florida Halted Due To Rain
March 21, 2010 | Men's Tennis
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Due to a lengthy rain delay that pushed the start of the match back, and more rain later in the day, Mississippi State men's tennis team's match at No. 7 Florida Sunday was finally cancelled due to rain with no points determined.
After rain for over three hours delayed the beginning of the contest, the match was finally started with singles first in an attempt to render a winner before the rain interfered again.
The Bulldogs who are 8-6 overall and 1-3 in the SEC, will return to the courts next Sunday at home against the 64th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks, for a 1 p.m. match.
