MSU Softball's Alumni Game Rained Out

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Heavy rain that passed through Starkville on Friday has forced the cancellation of Mississippi State's annual alumni softball game which was scheduled to be played on Sunday at the MSU RecPlex.
The Bulldogs posted a 4-0 record in fall action, hitting .496 and out-scoring opponents 66-3. Head coach Jay Miller's squad tallied 17 doubles, six triples and five home runs in support of a pitching staff that tallied a 0.75 earned-run average and 38 strikeouts.
