Rain Forces Cancellation Of MSU Softball's Tuesday Night Game at Mississippi Valley State

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Heavy rains have forced the cancellation of Tuesday night's non-conference softball game in Itta Bena between Mississippi State and Mississippi Valley State.
The season finale between the two teams will not be rescheduled. State (30-11) swept the all three meetings with MVSU this year, outscoring the Delta Devilettes 32-1.
The Bulldogs return to Southeastern Conference play Thursday, hosting Kentucky in a doubleheader slated for a 4 p.m. start at the MSU Softball Field. Admission to all MState home softball games is free of charge.
Thursday's second game will be broadcast live on WMSV 91.1 and online at www.wmsv.msstate.edu.
