STARKVILLE, Miss. - Senior Charles Rhodes scored 19 points by halftime and finished with a game-high 24 points to lead the Mississippi State Bulldogs (17-7, 8-2 Southeastern Conference) past the Arkansas Razorbacks (17-7, 6-4) by a margin of 80-74 Saturday afternoon.
The crucial victory placed State two games ahead of the second-place Razorbacks in the SEC's Western Division with just six games remaining in the regular season.
