
Mathis Closes Out Career; Finishes Tied For 36th At NCAA East Regional

BATON ROUGE, La. - Mississippi State senior Amanda Mathis concluded her collegiate career Saturday afternoon, as she finished in a tie for 36th at the NCAA East Regional at the University Club in Baton Rouge, La. Mathis fired a 73 in the final round to finish 2-over par for the tournament.
It was Duke who took the spotlight in the final round, as they fired a 272 on the final day to win the team title. Sydnee Michaels of UCLA shot a 69 in the final round to hold on and win the individual title.
Mathis concludes her four-year stint at MSU with 15 career top-10 finishes including two individual titles. Mathis was a two-time all-SEC performer and a multi-year member of the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars Team.
