MSU Student-Athletes Lend a Helping Hand to the Community

STARKVILLE, Miss.- As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, Mississippi State student-athletes will be doing their part to help out in the community. M-Club, the MSU Student-Athlete Community Service Group comprised of nearly 150 members, is currently hosting the eighth annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
The M-Club, along with the help of some Starkville residents, has been collecting food from the community during the month of November. Athletes from all sports on the MState campus will deliver and stock the pantry of some 10 Starkville families in need on Sunday, November 17.The families will be provided with a turkey, or a turkey and ham depending on the size of the family.
The annual food drive is just one of many events the M-Club sponsors to get its members more involved in the community.
