Tommy Lee Pharr

Tommy Pharr played football at Mississippi State from 1966-1969, earning varsity letters in 1967, 1968 and 1969.
In his career, he did a little bit of everything. Pharr rushed for 569 yards and five touchdowns. He completed 339 of 648 passes for 3,720 yards and 24 touchdowns. He had eight receptions for 85 yards and returned 12 kickoffs for 244 yards.
In 1968, he earned First Team All-SEC honors and was an honorable mention All-American.
Following his college days, Pharr played defensive back and quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
