Sid Robinson lettered in Track & Field at Mississippi State from 1922 to 1925. Robinson competed in the 1500m in the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Robinson would win five-straight Big Ten Championships and three National AAU Championships as a coach of the Indiana University cross-country team. Inducted into the Indiana University Hall of Fame in 1985.
Earned a Ph.D. Degree in Psychology from Harvard University. Dr. Robinson would be world-renowned through his research on the Physiology of Exercise. Serving as Chairman of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology at Indiana University, along with serving on numerous national committees and organizations.
