Billie "Scott" Suber played football at Mississippi State from 1953 to 1955, playing both guard and inside linebacker.
During his time at Mississippi State, Suber was named First Team All-SEC in 1955 by both the AP and UPI. He was also named the 1955 Most Valuable Lineman in the SEC that same year. In 1955, he was named an All-American by four publications.
Following his time at State, Suber served in the military and later had a successful career as a banker in Tupelo.
Suber was inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in 1993.
